Our christchurch roots
The devastating 2011 Christchurch earthquake sparked the idea for MCP Limited. Having always renovated our own family homes, we saw an opportunity to contribute to the rebuild. Before COVID, we repaired over 150 homes and bought and sold over 50 properties for previous employers. Three years ago, with the same dedicated team, MCP Limited was born as a family business. We genuinely love helping our investors and clients achieve their goals; it’s fun, challenging, and incredibly rewarding to see completed projects on sold.
A hands-on, family approach
Yes, we are incredibly hands-on! We insist on meeting with our team for in-person 'toolbox meetings' every week. We also actively involve our clients, keeping them fully informed on project progress. Prior to every project, our team meticulously plans everything – timing of materials like timber, Gib board, kitchens, and bathrooms, along with scheduling tradespeople with reminders at least a week in advance. What truly sets us apart is our tight-knit team; we’re like family, bound by values of honesty, determination, and putting family first. We absolutely love helping our clients, whether it's their very first investment or their hundredth. The end results are incredibly satisfying. We also take immense pride in meeting first-home buyers, guiding them through the process, and in some cases, even helping them work on-site to build their deposit. It’s not just about us; we often support local sports teams with working bees, demonstrating our commitment to the community. We strive to help everyone we can reach their desired outcomes, making a real difference.
